The great Saharan desert forms a natural barrier, both culturally and ecologically, between North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. Islam is the predominant religion in North Africa, and the region is home to a wide variety of people groups with rich cultural histories. In recent years, political shifts in the region have opened up some of these countries like never before.View Opportunities
North Africa is a region of rich cultural heritage and diverse people groups. In recent years, political shifts in many of the countries in this region have opened up opportunities for education like never before. Many parents believe that the best opportunity for their children is an education in English. Many Muslim parents also desire their children to attend schools that promote values such as respect for others and responsible living.
New schools and other educational opportunities are being developed in the region. Positions will be filled with educators who will be trained in cultural and linguistic skills overseas. The educational professionals working in these schools will have the opportunity to powerfully impact students, parents, and society through high quality educational services. We are looking for dedicated college graduates of any major who are excited about pursuing transformational education in North Africa. Join us for a two-week cultural immersion trip to check things out and then consider a two-year initial commitment.
Many immigrants from North Africa have also moved to Europe in search of employment. Here, in countries where there is religious freedom, you can also work with the European Diaspora population in a variety of educational settings. Engage with North Africans, both young and old, as they learn English, computer skills, and spend time at community centers.
