Thailand, the "land of the free," is inhabited by a majority Buddhist population. There are pockets of Animistic, Muslim, and Christian minority groups, but only 0.05 percent of the 68 million people are Evangelicals. Buddhism influences all aspects of social and civic life. Becoming and living as a Christian feels counter-cultural for Thai people, and this fact inhibits church growth. TEAM's strategy is a holistic approach to church growth by enabling Christians to have a positive influence on their community and by equipping new Thai believers to do the work of the ministry as lay leaders.View Opportunities
Out of all the South East Asian countries, Thailand is the least reached and the easiest to come and do church planting in. There are fewer believers in Thailand than in Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and Malaysia. It is an open harvest field with so much to be done. Please consider coming and joining us in reaching Thai Buddhist people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and seeing God glorified in this beautiful land.

Chiang Mai Art and Music Center Initiative
Chiang Mai is a city that has many churches that consist of mostly minority tribal believers. The vast majority of people that live in Thailand are The Thai Buddhist people. We believe that the art and music community is a sector of Thai society that is being missed with gospel. We are working to impact these people with Christ through holistic ministry practice of using art and music in relationships.
