Costa Rica

Over 23% of the population lives in extreme poverty. The majority of the families are led by single-mothers who must work in order to provide for their children. Most of these women do not know English, have littl education, and no specific job training. Opportunities for employment are scarce. In desperation, many of these women, and even their children turn to prostitution for survival.

Our purpose is to create hope by providing the necessary skills and training these women need to break the cycle of poverty. We seek to build strong relationships with the single-mothers from Costa Rica by offering to teach them English and train them in how to become employable. We also offer workshops related to parenting and Bible studies for them and their little children.
