Ireland

Ireland is running. Running to catch up with the post-Christian European worldview. The Irish lived under the heavy weight of Catholicism for the past 1500 years and is now breaking free. Free to do whatever they see fit in their own eyes. Some are asking about the Christian faith for the first time without fear, many are open to hearing the gospel given in culturally sensitive ways for the first time. God is opening Ireland’s hearts!

Ireland is known for green fields, majestic cliffs, loads of sheep and lots of craic (fun). Although Irish people are always ready for fun, most have never encountered the gospel of Jesus Christ. Their own exploration of faith as many leave Catholicism is taking them into very dark places filled with fear, suicide, Atheism, and other pagan religions. We hope to give them a better option!

The Island of Ireland is unique and diverse in its spiritual communities’.  It comprises two very different countries: The Republic of Ireland (known simply as Ireland) and Northern Ireland. Ireland has 26 counties and is the least reached English-speaking nation in the world. Northern Ireland has 6 counties and is part of the UK. It has a 48% protestant population with its own spiritual challenges in an emerging post-Christian era.

We are partnering with evangelical churches and church plants to grow disciples as together they lovingly spread the gospel message to the highly unreached people of Ireland.  If you have a desire to join what the Lord is doing to reach the people of Ireland, we would love to hear from you.

If you have a current EU citizenship status, please consider coming to Ireland as Visa issues would not be an issue for you.

The initiative in Northern Ireland is through Salt Factory Sports which you will find in our Initiatives.
