You want to see your church members making disciples. But if you’re like many church leaders, you’re not sure how to effectively call your people to real action. That’s why we created Explore.

Explore workshops help you to guide your congregation in discovering God’s heart for the world and their role in that mission — whether it’s across the street or around the globe.

Explore is a two-track program led by trained facilitators across the U.S. and Canada. Explore the Mission makes a great one-day training and discipleship program. Explore Your Call is best led as a small group or mentoring curriculum for individuals exploring a full-time call to cross-cultural ministry. You can also use part or all of the curriculum in a small group setting. We’d love to coach you on how to lead people through the workshop!

What does it cost to host Explore at our church?

Explore is offered at no cost to you! We always appreciate a donation to cover travel costs for facilitators, but our desire is to serve churches of all sizes and resources. The church is responsible for printing materials and providing meals and snacks, if desired.
How long is the curriculum?

Explore the Mission and Explore Your Calling each contain six interactive sessions. Each session lasts 75 minutes, for a total of seven and half hours, plus any breaks or meals.
Who should lead Explore?

Explore is designed as a learner-led program. That means the leader takes the role of facilitating discoveries and discussion as the participants dig into Scripture and activities. TEAM has facilitators trained in this strategy throughout the country. If your church would rather lead the curriculum yourselves, we can lead the facilitator through a one-hour coaching call in leading the material.
Is Explore available in languages other than English?

Explore the Mission is currently available in Spanish.
How have other churches used Explore?

Churches have used Explore as small group programs, retreats, day-long training workshops and conference breakout sessions. Some churches host the workshop and invite other local churches to join them.
